The End..
I'm really glad I had the chance to read Ella Enchanted which brought my imagination alive! I'm also glad that no fairies are in this world to cast wrong doing spells that could harm us for life but I do have to say that every girl needs to find their prince charming!

There's much more out there on the web keep an eye out!
On activity I thought would be fun was as a class once they were done with reading the book they could put on a small play for their families. This would get them involved in the book and could help them connect the book to other plays and readings.

hummm...
Okay, so at this point I've read the first 6 chapters. As I read the book I love the story line, it reminds me of both Cinderella and Shrek.
When Ella was a young girl she was given the obedient curse, meaning she has to obey any command. Ella's mother and her fairy godmother are the only ones that know. Ella's mother passes from a little cold and Ella is devastated. Before her mother’s death her mother command’s Ella to never tell anyone that she has this curse.
After her mother’s funeral Ella is comforted by the handsome young Prince of Frell, Char. As soon as he enters the story I root for Ella and Char to fall in love.
Ella’s father is a rude selfish man. He commands Ella to go to finishing school with two obnoxious sisters who figure out that Ella will do what ever you want her to do. Hatti, one of the two sisters, try’s to make Ella’s life miserable the whole time they are at finishing school.
